Project Brief:
Conversion of a Listed Barn into a dwelling for an existing client.
Innovative use of a polished concrete floor and wetrooms, giving a contemporary look to an old barn. The Barn is heated predominantly by an electric boiler with a wood burner for back-up, and has also been well insulated to provide comfortable accommodation.
We worked closely with Listed Buildings, Architect and Building Control, which resulted in us becoming a Finalist in the regional LABC Awards for Best Change of Use of a Listed Building

"We have now worked with Wraxall Builders for almost 20 years as we restore and convert various buildings on our farm. Their pricing remains highly competitive and their longstanding workforce are punctual, efficient and personally invested in giving their best. Individual crafts, particularly stonemasonry, are second to none"
Alec Marmot, 2017
